For the first time ever The Jewellery Room is launching its exclusive event outside of Scandinavia.

The Jewellery Room is renowned for its pioneering cohesive jewellery platform and high-end events in Scandinavia. Founded by the two Danish sisters Pernille Møbjerg Knudsen & Charlotte Møbjerg Ansel-Henry, the mission of The Jewellery Room is to bring jewellery design into the big international fashion arena.

With a wish to see jewellery being more accessible, “out there”, visible and understandable for press, buyers and consumers alike, the founders devised and created a specific and unique concept, which bridges the gap between fashion and jewellery. Offering a cohesive solution and luxury experience, The Jewellery Room platform showcases selected jewellery brands within the fashion scene, both offline and online.

The approach of The Jewellery Room’s ambitious platform is different from many other jewellery initiatives. By bringing its innovative online hub and physical jewellery events to key fashion weeks, the represented brands reach an international audience and become internationally recognised on the high-end fashion scene as well as online.

Professional Jeweller has known about The Jewellery Room for a while, and was very excited to learn it will be bringing jewellery centre stage during London Fashion Week.

The show launches in London September 15-16, during the renowned London Fashion Week. Press, buyers and selected influencers are invited into an amazing world of jewellery where the 25 most significant jewellery brands from Scandinavia and beyond will showcase their latest collections.

The exhibiting jewellery designers have been carefully selected by The Jewellery Room who in collaboration with their official partners WGSN and Adorn Insight host the venue at the Embankment Galleries at Somerset House.

“Jewellery is a natural extension of the catwalk and a part of ones style and look – where clothes give you style, jewellery states your personality,” shares founder Pernille Møbjerg Knudsen. “This is why we felt the urge to launch the online hub where professionals and consumers can get their daily jewellery fix – and we have only just started.”

The Jewellery Room event launched in Copenhagen in 2013, and the online hub, in 2016.
