The inaugural Jewellery & Watch and Fashion (JWF) event at Autumn Fair 2020 was cancelled early last month when the event announced on its Instagram page it would be “returning in 2021”.

Now, Autumn Fair is back on, albeit in a virtual context only. Registration for the event will open soon.

‘Autumn Fair @ Home’ will now take place 8 and 9 September, with the organiser offering “exhibitors and attendees the opportunity to showcase and discover new products”.

It also announced ‘The Virtual Showroom’ where attendees can engage with suppliers.

Visitors can also expect to hear talks from retailers and trend forecasters on what 2021 may hold for the industry.

Hyve Group has organised Autumn Fair @ Home as well as two other virtual events – Glee Gathering and Fashion Together.

Julie Driscoll, UK regional director, ITE Group, said: “Our market-leading shows are a vital cog in UK retail; our physical shows are places of discovery and dynamic environments where business is done – we want our virtual forums to offer a similar environment.

“There is no doubt that COVID-19 has impacted retail this year, however, we believe that now is the time to help refuel retail and help our community to bounce back.

“We hope that the free forums that we are offering to our customers this September really help to kickstart product discovery.”

The next live Autumn Fair event will still be in February 2021. Read below about Autumn Fair 2020’s initial cancellation before it was brought back as an online-only exhibition:
