Trade show Jewellery & Watch will have a presence at Autumn Fair from 2020.

Show organisers will be introducing a new ‘Jewellery & Watch Salon’ to next year’s Autumn Fair, due to take place at the NEC, Birmingham, from September 6-9.

This falls just days after International Jewellery London’s usual allocated slot, however the dates for IJL’s 2020 show have yet to be confirmed as its usual space in Olympia is no longer available during the first weekend of September.

IJL have played with June and October dates, but buyers and exhibitors have stressed the September timeline is important to them.

In its debut year, the Jewellery & Watch Salon will serve as an Autumn Fair hot-spot for jewellery services and solutions, fashion, silver and semi-precious jewellery suppliers, designer brands and fine jewellery businesses. The Salon will take its place in Hall 9, which is adjacent to the Fashion & Gift Hall for complementary buying opportunities.

As interest and awareness grows, the Jewellery & Watch team expect the Salon concept to expand into a larger show, akin to the flagship Jewellery & Watch event hosted annually alongside Spring Fair.

Jewellery & Watch event director, Kirsty Broere, says: “We are incredibly excited to launch the Jewellery & Watch Salon at Autumn Fair 2020. We have been overwhelmed by requests from our current exhibitors to create a platform at this crucial time of year for Christmas sourcing and buying. We are proud to be able to offer this and meet demand in addition to Jewellery & Watch 2020, which will take place from February 2-6 in Hall 1 of the NEC.”

Jewellery & Watch’s new presence at Autumn Fair will offer a dedicated event space for brands and businesses in the jewellery sector.

Autumn Fair is usually attended by over 20,000 visitors, including buyers, independent retailers, ecommerce giants and department stores. In 2019, Autumn Fair experienced a 60% pre-show onsite rebook rate, highlighting just how effective the show is for exhibiting businesses.

Described as the most important home and gift marketplace of the season, Autumn Fair is ideally timed and located to offer buying opportunities at the start of the ‘Golden Quarter’ – the busiest and most profitable shopping time of the year that incorporates the festive season.
