Specialist jewellery insurer to target Classic FM listeners.
Actress Joanna Lumley has been announced as the new voice of specialist jewellery insurer Assetsure for a targeted advertising campaign due to start this week.
The 30-second radio advertisements will broadcast at various times over the next year on Classic FM London, with the aim of targeting asset-rich individuals with high value jewellery, engagement rings and luxury watches.
Assetsure managing director James Farley commented: “We’re very excited to be working with Joanna – widely considered to be one of the country’s national treasures – to develop the campaign. There’s a great fit between our customer profile and Classic FM’s listeners, and we hope Joanna’s distinctive voice will reach as many ears as possible.”
Farley adds: “Raising awareness of the need for standalone insurance and of the Assetsure brand in this way will also provide additional support for our jewellery retailer affiliates, who gain generous commission on each policy they sell.”
Key features of Assetsure’s jewellery and watch insurance, which is underwritten at Lloyds of London, are: no excess; worldwide all risks cover including accidental damage, theft and accidental loss; and no requirement for additional security measures, such as specifying locks, alarms or safes.
