The Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) has announced that American jewellery TV giant, Jewelry Television (JTV), will be the Platinum Sponsor for its upcoming Conference 2016.
Welcoming speakers from around the globe, the Gem-A Conference has a reputation for tackling the most innovative and contemporary gem-related topics, whilst bringing together some of the leaders in the field for a weekend of networking and special events.
Alongside sponsoring the Gem-A Conference for the past three years, JTV has vastly contributed to the expansion and increased recognition of the Gem-A brand worldwide.

This year’s conference, which will be held November 5-6 at the Royal Institute of British Architects, Marylebone, will tackle topical and contemporary gem-related subjects through talks from some of the world’s top gemmologists and experts in their field.
The line-up includes talks from Jim Clanin (JC Mining), Pat Daly (Gem-A), John Dyer (John Dyer & Co.), David Fisher (De Beers), Ian Harebottle (Gemfields), Bill Larson (Pala Gems), Helen Molesworth (Gübelin), Danny Sanchez, Robert Weldon (GIA) and Dr Michael Wise (Smithsonian Institution), covering topics ranging from the history of gemstones, stone cutting and photomicrography, to gemstone localities and updates on the detection of certain treatments.
