January issue led by Amazon UK head of vendor management for jewellery
Amazon UK’s head of vendor management for jewellery, Julian Exposito-Bader, has been named Professional Jeweller‘s Guest Editor for a special January 2015 edition of the magazine.
Each year, Professional Jeweller welcomes a different Guest Editor to lead the January issue, with past editors including Annoushka Ducas, Shaun Leane, Jason Holt and Kyron Keogh and Grant Mitchell of ROX.
Stepping up to the plate to kick off the new year is Julian Exposito-Bader, Amazon UK’s head of vendor management for jewellery, who has worked tirelessly over the past two years to build the UK site’s jewellery collections. He has added a swathe of British and international designers to Amazon UK’s offer, including Zoe & Morgan, Imogen Belfield, Kasun London, Maria Francesca Pepe, Missoma and LucyQ.
Exposito-Bader is working closely with Professional Jeweller‘s editorial team, Kathryn Bishop and Sarah Louise Jordan, on a number of feature ideas focused on the UK and international jewellery industries.
Professional Jeweller is calling for questions for Exposito-Bader, for a special Ask the Editor feature in the Guest Editor edition. Anyone wishing to send in a question can email the team on email@example.com, with the subject line Guest Editor Question.
Julian Exposito-Bader said of his Guest Editorship: "I have lots of ideas that I am looking forward to working on with Professional Jeweller. I am incredibly honoured and excited to be hosting the January edition of the magazine and I look forward to receiving questions from members of the industry for the Ask the Editor feature.”
Exposito-Bader was named a Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2013 IJL Retail Star. His work with Amazon has also brought a number of fine jewellery brands on board with the online retailer in the UK, including Gurhan, Alex Woo and Vianna Brazil.

"His fashion-led perspective is very fresh, balanced by charm and modesty that belies his buying nous. I cannot wait to work with Julian on the Guest Editor issue – we already have some very exciting features up our sleeves."
