X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini spotted wearing key brooch.
Jewellery brand Kleshna is celebrating the success of its poppy designs for The Royal British Legion after pieces were worn by Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on ITV talent show The X Factor.
The pop singer could be seen wearing the Kleshna Soutache Poppy brooch during the live Sunday night programme, alongside other presenters and acts.
In response, the brand has admitted that this kind of high-profile celebrity placement is helping to bring the Poppy Appeal to a wider audience, and raise awareness of the cause to a younger audience.
Kleshna founder and managing director Kleshna Handel, commented: “Each year we are thrilled to see the host of celebrities who show their support for the Poppy Appeal by wearing Kleshna Poppies.
“There is no doubt that having our sparkling brooches and lapel pins worn on celebrities such as Cheryl Fernandez-Versini on The X Factor during the appeal brings our Poppy collection to a wider and more varied audience. This in turn helps to raise a greater awareness for the charity and we trust it will have a halo effect on the sales and donation we can make."
The Kleshna Royal British Legion Poppy collection includes brooches, lapel pins, hair slides, pendants, earrings and enamel and crystal chord bracelets, with prices starting from RRP£12.99.
