Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Lark & Berry has launched an in-store piercing studio.
The multiple ear piercing trend has become increasingly popular over the last couple of years, and now consumers in London can opt for earrings adorned with lab-grown stones.
Lark & Berry’s ear piercing studio now forms part of the brand’s flagship store in London, which opened in September 2018, and nods to the company’s mission to push the boundaries in the sustainable luxury market.
Alongside the opening of the studio, the brand has created a capsule 14ct gold piercing collection, designed to complement its existing offer.
The piercing collection has been developed with an expert body piercer to curate jewellery that minimise scarring in a new piercing, including hoops which have an increased thickness that have been designed specifically for piercings.
Lark & Berry creative director, Katie Rowland, shares: “I embrace body jewellery, having always had numerous piercings and a tattoo. I studied cultural body adornment and find the subject fascinating; the fact the people are becoming more open to body adornment and that it is now widely accepted is great! Therefore, it was only natural for me to work with Laura designing and developing a piercing range that both complimented and extended our existing ranges for ear work.”
“Lark & Berry are the first jewellers to have developed an ear-piercing range using stones grown above ground that have minimal environmental impact and go beyond conflict free. I am proud to adorn my ears with Lark & Berry knowing this.”
Lark & Berry’s launched online in May 2018 with a vision to create contemporary jewellery with a conscience.
In September 2018, the brand opened the doors to a flagship in London’s Marylebone district.
