Ladoire Geneva pogos into Basel with Punk watches

Upstart Swiss watch maker aims to shock with radical luxury designs.

Ladoire Geneva has given full rein to its wilder creative side with the launch of the RGT Punk Rock watch.

Lionel Ladoire’s latest interpretation of the Roller Guardian Time has shaken off the shackles of tradition with a watch that combines technical precision with master craftsmanship and dramatic design.

Only three pieces of the limited edition watch will be created, each of which is retailing for CHF 158,800 (£95,000), excluding tax.

Ladoire, which burst onto the scene in 2007, aims to rewrite the rules of Swiss watch making with a combination of radical mechanical movement engineering coupled with challenging design.

“The main interest of RGT is to be fully customisable, with almost no limit,” says Richard Piras, co-founder of the brand.

The RGT Punk Rock, and all other Roller Guardian Time pieces feature a Calvet/01/RGT caliber with automatic winding-mechanism behind a hand skeletonised dial in a 45mm case.
