Jewellery brand to target independent retailers with silver lines.

Jewellery brand Lara Bohinc is planning to develop its wholesale channel and will be targeting jewellers in the UK with silver collections.

The brand has made appearances at a number of trade shows in the second half of this year including Copenhagen International Fashion Fair, White in Milan and Premiere Classe in Paris.


The Lara Bohinc brand, which sells fashion accessories such as bags and scarves as well as jewellery, has experienced strong growth over the past year with sales up 20% across the board.

The brand’s eponymous founder, who was awarded an MBE this year for services to fashion, has recently ended a partnership with Cartier as a jewellery consultant in order to better focus on growing her business. The brand has also partnered with the International Palladium Board to create collections of palladium jewellery.

Bohinc said: “We want to have more distribution of our silver line, opening up to jewellery retailers and independents in the UK.”
The brand has also been growing internationally, with particular successes in Scandinavia. “We really are becoming a global brand,” said Bohinc.

Bohinc was named as a Tresor Paris Trendsetter in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 2012 in association with The Company of Master Jewellers.
