Laura Jayne Strand moves into freelance jewellery design

Award winning jewellery designer Laura Jayne Strand has decided to pursue a career in freelance jewellery design.

After years of working with internationally recognised jewellery houses including Theo Fennell, Moussaieff and PureJewels, Strand has decided to pursue a career in freelance.

Strand explains: “Having worked with some of the best known names in the industry, I have decided to focus on freelance projects, offering a complete design consultancy service to the trade.”

The move comes with the launch of a new solo website showcasing Strand’s portfolio of high, fine and luxury fashion jewellery designs.

The new website also features a blog, where Strand will share her latest work and talk all things jewellery.

Strand, who studied jewellery design at Central St Martins, has won several prestigious design competitions, including two Lonmin Design Innovation Awards and a silver place at the Goldsmiths’ Craft and Design Award for Innovative use of Gemstones.

The new website can be found at www.laurajaynestrand.com.
