Distributor encourages others to adhere to Council’s standards.
Hatton Garden jewellery manufacturer and distributor Lawrence Blunt has achieved membership of the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC).
The company has met the RJC’s highest ethical, social and environmental standards as established by its system. The company was assessed by Roshini Wickramasinghe from SGS, one of the independent third-party auditing firms accredited to the RJC’s Member Certification system.
Lawrence Blunt company administrator Laurence Summers said: “Lawrence Blunt is committed to the principles set out by the RJC, and have been actively encouraging all parties connected to the business to adhere to all the requirements set out by the RJC. We are delighted to have received the three year certification from the RJC and will continue to uphold all its principles."
The company works with jewellery brands and collections including APM Monaco, which it took on earlier in 2013.
