Lanes Fine Jewellery celebrated the launch of the first luxurious Lanes Ladies evening last week as more than 40 ladies from Leicester gathered to enjoy glamour, sushi and champagne.

Director, Carli Onguc and brand ambassador, Emma Hyslop-Webb, the Olympic level event rider, hosted the evening at the luxury boutique, known for its fine diamonds and Bond Street style.

Currently on display is what is thought to be the city’s most expensive diamond ring – the 11 carat Asscher-cut, valued at more than £390,000.

After agreeing a third season as the official sponsors of Leicester City Football Club, the jewellers have expanded further by creating the exclusive club, Lanes Ladies ‘for women who want to invest in themselves’.

The evening also featured designer fashion by Condotti Boutique and bespoke shoes by the Jimmy Choo trained, Kate Spence of Spence London.  A centrepiece of sushi served on a male geisha added an element of fun.

Carli Onguc said: “Lanes Ladies is an exciting concept that Emma and I have created together. These invitation-only events are for women who appreciate the finer things in life. The Lanes Ladies after-hours shopping and networking events give us a chance to spend quality time with our guests, as well as show them some spectacular diamonds and jewellery. I am thrilled with the success of the evening and delighted to see that Leicestershire is full of luxury loving, fun ladies.”
