French jewellery brand Les Georgettes has bumped up its range of products on offer with the introduction of a new category.

The jewellery brand, which specialises in customisable jewellery, has introduced earrings into its business.

The range, which currently comprises earring, rings and bracelets, encourages consumers to customise. Each piece of jewellery has a leather strip inserted, which has two colours and can be worn either way round. At the moment the vibrant collection offers 48 colours.


The new earrings range is available in four designs, three sizes and three finishes, to mix and match with a variety of coloured inserts, and starts at £45.

Professional Jeweller spoke to the brand’s international vice-president, Frédéric Brunel, earlier this year.

The businessman told PJ that the company is looking to expand into a full lifestyle brand. This mission has so far seen Les Georgettes add necklaces and (now) earrings to its portfolio, alongside handbags.

By the end of the first quarter Les Georgettes will introduce jewellery designed for kids and men, and has plans to launch its first watch in the next 12 months.

“Les Georgettes will be becoming a complete lifestyle personalised brand,” Brunel tells Professional Jeweller. “We have two main categories at the moment – one is jewellery and the other one is leather goods and accessories. On the jewellery side we are looking to introduce a complete range of products for women from 25-65 years old. Rings, necklaces, earrings – and we plan as well to launch a watch collection by Fall 2018. Then we are also developing a jewellery range for kids from 8-14 years old, and we will also be introducing a range for men this year.”
