London Diamond Bourse introduces new membership category

London Diamond Bourse

The London Diamond Bourse (LDB) has announced the launch of a new key membership category which will debut at Jewellery & Watch 2016.

The development of the Country Membership category is aimed nationwide at diamond and jewellery industry professionals who would like a formal relationship with the LDB but do not need the full range of services that current membership packages entail.

LDB chief operating officer Victoria McKay explains: “It is apparent from the significant feedback we have received that there are many people in the industry who are not LDB members but hold the LDB in very high regard. We see this new Country Membership as a way of formalising that association and encouraging others to join the LDB.”

McKay continues: “We feel it is important that the industry can access the stock held in London and support the UK market. The creation of a Country Member status is both timely and practical with that in mind. We hope the development of the Country Membership category will lead to a mutually beneficial relationship between the LDB and key people in the industry.”

In brief the membership category includes full membership to the London Diamond Bourse and eligibility is set at a geographical location of 50 miles outside London.
