Loveness Lee launches debut jewellery collection

Contemporary fashion jewellery brand Loveness Lee has launched its debut collection this week.

The eponymous brand, founded in London by Loveness Lee in 2016, offers a unique take on modern, statement jewellery.

Made in the designer’s own workshop in London, through an experimental process of cuttlebone casting and patination, the results comprise natural forms, vibrant colours and irregular textures. The debut collection is made up of earrings, necklaces, bracelets, single earrings, brooches and rings.

Loveness Lee developed her style and craft at Middlesex University graduating in 2014, followed by a Master’s degree at London Metropolitan University’s Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, Architecture & Design in 2016.

The designer reveals: “The inspiration for my work mainly comes from nature. I enjoy the collaborative process between myself and nature in conjunction with science. Nature is the most talented designer so I let it do the work for me – The shapes, textures and colours in my work are formed coincidentally. Each piece of my jewellery is unique in its own way.”

Hoping to introduce British jewellery craftsmanship to the international fashion market, Loveness Lee will showcase the new collection at Berlin Premium International Fashion Trade Show on July 4 – 6.

The designer shares her expectations of her first trade show: “The main purpose of the trade show is to introduce my anticipated brand to the industry and I’m also looking forward to the networking opportunities and potential future collaborations. This will be a learning experience for me as this is my first trade show. It will be a bonus if I can form two or three UK retail partnerships alongside one international partnership.”

Prices for the collection are between £150 – 775 RRP.
