English contemporary jewellery designer and silversmith Lucy Quartermaine has reported that online sales boosted the business to dizzy heights at the end of last year.
The owner and founder of the eponymous brands reported that the end of 2021 heading into 2021 was the brand’s “best few months on record”.
The designer brand saw an 88% website increase this January year-on-year.
This rolled on from an excellent e-commerce performance in the final quarter of 2020, with their website gaining an 145% increase year-on-year.
The team has put more time and work into marketing and online strategy during lockdown which paid off towards the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021.
Lucy Quartermaine Jewellery is looking to achieve even more in 2021, promising more launches to come.
Quartermaine commented: “Despite the hit of COVID-19, we are thrilled with the success of our website!
“We re-designed and launched this last year and it has gone from strength to strength.
“I believe the improved mobile user platform has contributed to our sales increase, our customers can now view our products more easily with improved filters and layouts.
“Leading on into 2021, we are getting ready to support our retail partners with re-opening and hope for continued success this year.”
