Jewellery designer Lucy Quatermaine has reported a significant boost to its online sales in 2020 compared to last year.
Monthly sales have risen by around 70% on 2019, with June performing particularly well at 77%.
The June boom, it said, was due to the launch of the designer’s new website which includes an improved mobile user platform.
Lucy Quartermaine Jewellery, an English contemporary designer and silversmith based in Cheshire, has also invested more time in increasing its online presence, including bettering SEO and email marketing to the end consumer.
The brand also saw an increase in sales for simpler designs from the Drop and Teardrop collections, particularly of earrings, bracelets and anklets for the summer months.
Founder, Lucy Quartermaine, commented: “I was overwhelmed by the sales increase we have seen during lockdown.
“During such an uncertain time it is amazing to see so many brand ambassadors of our designs continue to build on their own collections.”
