Luxury hotel group calls on jewellers to add extra sparkle this season

This festive season Rocco Forte Hotels has partnered with luxury jewellers to add extra sparkle to their properties this season.

The Balmoral in Edinburgh has teamed with local jeweller, Hamilton & Inches, while Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, London has worked with neighbouring jewellery retailer, Boodles.

Inspired by Hamilton & Inches’ upcoming Scottish gold collection, The Balmoral’s festive installation will transform the hotel into a gilded hub.

A 15ft spruce tree – hand painted with gold leaf – will take centre stage in the lobby, its branches offset with gold accents and crystal touches in a nod to the pieces found in Hamilton & Inches’ showroom. These adornments will continue throughout the property and into the hotel’s leading signature suite, which will also be given a golden touch. Throughout the festive period, the hotel’s bar will be serving an exclusive Scottish Gold cocktail for customers to enjoy.

Furthermore, in tribute to their shared heritage, the workshops of Hamilton & Inches have also been commissioned to create a limited-edition Balmoral charm, which recreates the hotel’s iconic clock tower in both gold and silver form. This charm will be available to buy from both the hotel and Hamilton & Inches.

Meanwhile, in London, Brown’s Hotel and British fine jewellery firm Boodles have come together to celebrate their shared values of excellence in unrivalled luxury. These two British brands are linked by more than just their proximity on Albemarle Street in the heart of Mayfair. Hoth are family run and built around a passion for creativity, design, innovation and bespoke service.

Inspired by ideas of travel and magical places, Boodles will present a whimsically festive display throughout the hotel, transforming London’s first ever hotel into a hub for the innumerable celebrations of discerning locals and international travellers alike.

On entering the hotel guests will be welcomed by a snow-laden forest scene crafted by the hotel’s resident florist, Ellie Hartley, and pass beneath a series of suspended, bespoke Boodles hot air balloons guiding them through to the main Christmas tree adorned with further hand-crafted miniature hot air balloons, carrying pale pink Boodles gift boxes, and festive stars, reminiscent of a winter’s night brought to life with twinkling lights.

Beneath the tree an assortment of Boodles gift boxes will be piled which guests of the hotel will receive in exchange for a donation to Brown’s Hotel’s charity of choice, Children with Cancer UK. On Christmas Eve a number will be selected and a number of guests will receive gifts from our neighbouring luxury fashion houses on Bond Street including one winner of a diamond pendant from Boodles.
