Mantra Jewellery has launched a ‘Lockdown Heroines’ campaign, which aims to bring some joy to consumers during these challenging times.

With every Mantra necklace order placed between now and May 8, customers are being sent a free necklace in addition, to gift to a ‘Lockdown Heroine’.

What does Mantra mean by a Lockdown Heroine? Founder, Jo Stroud, explains: “We mean someone who has made, or is making, a real and positive difference to you or your family, during lockdown. If you’ve been ill, it could be a doctor, nurse or a pharmacist. If you’re stuck at home, it could be a neighbour or volunteer. If you’ve been buying supplies for other people, it could be a supermarket worker or driver. We know there are many amazing women whose actions or attitude are making a real difference in these tough times.”

Stroud and the team have picked out five necklaces as the free gifts, which are particularly appropriate to the current situation. With mantras including ‘You’re the reason I’m smiling today’, ‘You shine so brightly’ and ‘Life is beautiful’, they are intended to give a boost of joy to the recipient.

“We’ve had an amazing response to our campaign so far. People are gifting them to friends and neighbours who are NHS workers or care assistants, and we’re loving hearing their stories as the campaign goes on.”
