Mastermelt offers free post for people unable to get to Hatton Garden

Presman Mastermelt is offering a free post special delivery service to help jewellery firms with cash flow during the coronavirus crisis.

As the government advises against all non-essential travel, many will unable to make their usual trip into Hatton Garden but will still need the cash flow.

To combat this, Mastermelt has made it easy and free for companies to send pieces in.

Whether its precious metal scrap or bench lemel, the company’s fully insured free post special delivery service can be used to send goods in and then the sender can choose either cash to be sent back or have the payment transferred directly into a bank account.

At the moment at Presman Mastermelt, it is business as usual.

Jewellery firms can request the free post service online.

Mastermelt affirms: “If you are unable to visit the Presman trade counter, you can send us your precious metal scrap and coins in our fully insured, freepost envelopes. Our envelopes are guaranteed a next day delivery, are insured up to the value of £2500 and will be free of charge providing you send in at least £750 of gold, platinum or palladium in the envelope.

“Your package will be assessed and settled on the day of receipt by our skilled trade counter staff, with payment based on that morning’s fix.”

A replacement envelope will automatically be sent to you if the value of the scrap we received was between £750-£2500.
