Pearl supplier, Matt Aminoff London, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of a new director.

The Hatton Garden-based company has welcomed Charles Vickers to the team as sales director for the North of England and Scotland.

Vickers has an impressive track record in the jewellery trade, where he has spent over two decades carrying stock for a number of prestigious jewellery brands.

At Matt Aminoff London he will be servicing both new and existing clients with a full range of classic pearl and diamond jewellery, and will have access to all of the supplier’s stock for special enquiries.

Matt Aminoff London is quick to respond to trends and adjust according the retailer demands.

Most recently, as the trend for coloured gemstones continues to rise throughout the jewellery market, the supplier has see an increase in demand for more colourful and vibrant pieces of pearl jewellery.

The directors report: “In our collection of long pearl and diamond ‘by the yard’ chain necklaces, we have seen higher sales of our multicolour Tahitian and Akoya pearl with rose gold combination. Our customers love this item as it takes simple components of varying colour shades and blends them into a highly individual piece of fine jewellery.

“Our line of cultured pearl and semi-precious stone necklaces in yellow gold continues to perform well across our whole customer base. The stunning show of colours produced by the combination of amethyst, citrine and blue topaz creates a piece of jewellery perfect for either day or nightwear. This range also features matching earrings and bracelets which creates the perfect summer outfit.”

Matt Aminoff London will be showcasing these popular designs alongside new products at IJL.
