MAWI chosen for Walpole Brands Tomorrow programme


The programme nurtures and supports emerging UK talent.

 MAWI has been selected by Walpole for the 2010 Brands of Tomorrow programme.

The programme seeks to nurture and support UK talent within the luxury sector through bespoke membership and coaching, helping selected British luxury brands to fulfil their potential in their field.

MAWI, launched at London Fashion Week in 2003, has since captured the fashion market niche for contemporary costume jewellery, winning the BFC New Generation award for three consecutive seasons.

Celebrity followers include Beyonce, Rihanna, Alexa Chung, Emma Watson and Samantha Cameron.

MAWI managing director Tim Awan said: We are delighted to be recognised for the contribution we have made to the luxury costume jewellery sector. The Walpole will enable us to fine tune our business and become an iconic British brand like our predecessors in the programme.

Designers previously featured on the programme include Miller Harris, Shaun Leane, Astley Clarke and De Roemer.
