London-based personalised jewellery brand Merci Maman has launched a new limited edition collection to celebrate the new royal baby due to be born later this month (April).
Inspired by the brand’s bestselling necklace worn by the Duchess of Cambridge after the birth of Prince George, the new range features two engraved designs, which nod to the arrival of the next Prince or Princess.
One piece features the words ‘My Royal Baby’ hand-engraved on the front and illustrated with a crown on the reverse. Consumers can make this necklace personal by engraving the child’s name, and adding a birthstone adornment.
The second design features the words ‘My Little Prince’ or ‘My Little Princess’ engraved on the front, and offers a space for the baby’s name and date of birth to be engraved too.
The two new pieces are available in 18ct gold plating and sterling silver.
Last year Merci Maman celebrated its 10 year anniversary and received the royal seal of approval by being awarded the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.
Links to the Royals have proven to be popular for brands, with Merci Maman’s necklace worn by Kate Middleton becoming an instant success, and sales soaring for Missoma and Birks whenever Meghan Markle is spotted in their jewels.
