Parisian jewellery house Messika has collaborated with American fashion model Gigi Hadid to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its iconic Move collection.

Originally created by Messika’s founder Valerie Messika in 2007 and inspired by childhood memories of her diamond-dealer father playing with loose stones, the signature Move collection features three loose diamonds which move inside its pieces.

Since its launch, the brand has played around with the Move collection motif and offered consumers a wide variety of pieces.

To mark a decade of the iconic collection, Messika has partnered with Gigi Hadid to launch Move Addiction – a collection which fuses together the brand’s subtle elegance and the renowned model’s “rebel chic” style.

Suspending loose diamonds in a graphic G motif, Move Addiction adds “rock” and “punk” accents to the Move collection. Adorned in white, yellow and rose gold, the 12-piece collaboration consists of earrings, rings, bracelets and necklaces, which have been designed to be stacked and worn everyday.

Elsewhere, four one-of-a-kind high jewellery pieces have been designed under the name Move High Jewellery Addiction. This collection features a choker, long necklace, ear cuff and ring.

The designer had hesitated for a long time over the choice of a muse who could embody the many different facets of the brand, but, in the end, the Gigi Hadid’s international reputation, family values and air of simplicity made her an obvious choice.

Designer Valerie Messika comments: “Gigi is the embodiment of the Messika woman. She is spontaneous, sunny and bright. I loved working with Gigi. Her sense of detail and her discerning eye for fashion completely won me over. Her unparalleled professionalism and her involvement with the Maison throughout the development process deeply inspired me.”

The Messika by Gigi Hadid range will be available from September 30.
