Molly Brown director Erica Illingworth hopes to tap into a new market with the more affordable range. She said: “People love the range but some think it’s a bit too expensive.”

Molly Brown will create miniature versions of its sterling silver jewellery collections Dishy Fishy, Jelly Bean and Alphabet.

“I was in Paris and noticed a lot of teeny things going on,” said Illingworth. “I thought, we’ve got a lot of great designs so why not just shrink them?”

Molly Brown is sold in about 75 outlets in the UK and is a member of buying group Company of Master Jewellers.
