Online luxury jewellery marketplace JewelStreet has reported a spike in monthly sales following a record number of new designers joining the website.

JewelStreet, which currently hosts designs from over 545 international jewellery brands, welcomed 48 new designers from around the world last month. As a result, the e-tailed enjoyed a 138.81% increase in monthly sales for March 2017, compared to February 2017.

Also in March, JewelStreet reports that traffic to the website was up by 17.55%, and sales volumes were up 17.5%.


Compared to March 2016, JewelStreet saw order volumes increase by 80.77% and organic traffic up by 272.1%.

Women are accounting for 71.94% of traffic and 75.86% of sales, with the biggest spenders on the website being the 25-34 female age group.
