The Mother of the Bride wore one of Meghan Markle’s favourite jewellery brands for the big day.
It was predicated that Meghan Markle would wear Birks, as more often that not she wears pieces from the Canadian jewellery brand during public engagements, but for the big day she turned to Cartier.
However, the American beauty’s mother, Doria Ralgand, wore jewellery by Birks as she watched her daughter marry Prince Harry and become an official member of the royal family.
Doris Ralgand wore a pair of the brand’s Rosee Du Matin pearl and diamond drop earrings, and a Birks Snowflake oval diamond pave pendant on the day.
The pendant will be launched by the brand this fall, while the earrings are already for sale.
On the drive from Kensington Palace to Windsor Castle, a couple of days before the wedding, Meghan Markle wore a pair of earrings from Birks’ Snowflake collection.
The bride also wore jewellery from the brand during the official engagement announcement. These sold out within hours.
