Must see jewellery stands at Baselworld 2017



Swarovski Group brand Adore will showcase its contemporary and vibrant SS17 collection to Basel visitors. The new range features classic pieces for consumers looking for an understated look, alongside on trend ear jackets, easy-to-wear statement pieces. Turquoise and pastel pink are two key colours for the brand’s SS17 additions which offers rose, gold and silver metal hues.

Al Coro

Italian jewellery brand Al Coro will showcase its new line of jewellery ‘Palladio’. Inspired by the brand’s home town, Vicenza, Al Coro has created a collection which recalls northern Italy’s most important architect of the Renaissance and also contains the Italian term ‘Palla’, the sphere, which can be found in the new line as a defining element.

For 2017 luxury pearl jewellery brand Autore taps into the intergalactic trend for its new Stardust collection. The brand has creatively taken motifs from the galaxies, stars and planets that form the universe and transformed them into modern, pearl-adorned jewellery creations. Captivating a variety of shapes and colours, the final designs are out of this world and offer consumers statement, luxury pieces.

Charles Green

Charles Green will use Baselworld as a platform to officially launch a number of new collections, unveil new ‘wonders’ and demonstrate all the benefits and functions of its brand new website. Five new collections will be launched at the show, all with introductory purchase offers. The new pieces include designer two-colour wedding rings, art deco engagement ring mounts with matching bands, ‘fish tail’ set mounts with matching bands, ‘kite set’ eternity rings, and ‘castel set’ diamond wedding bands.

Continental Jewellery

Birmingham jewellery quarter-based manufacturer, Continental Jewellery will present its 2017 offering at Basel this year. The new collection features a striking 18ct white gold necklace adored with 11 carats worth of diamonds, and bold earring designs. The company will also show its complete bridal offering, including its Continental Collection, which was highly commended in the Professional Jeweller Collections of the Year.

Deakin & Francis

A fusion of organic fresh tones brings Deakin & Francis’s new Summer Haze cufflink collection to life this season. Capturing the hazy skies of the British summer and the crashing waves of a sandy beach, the new range, which visitors can discover at Basel, has been inspired by the palette of a quintessentially British summer. A blend of deeper green and grey tones have been complemented with a selection of lighter, brighter shades of pastel blue and lustrous silver to capture the essence of the season.

Domino will use Baselworld as a platform to introduce overseas customers and British visitors to its new platinum gold allow, which mixes platinum with pure gold, rather than other platinum group metals. This creates an alloy that has 97.3% precious metal content and creates a brilliantly white colour. This alloy is exclusive to Domino in the UK for the foreseeable future. The manufacturer will also showcases its new Finishing Touches wedding band designs and highly popular Diamond Ring Mount collection.

Fope will unveil two new collections at Basel, Solo Venzia and Prima. While the Prima collection is tightly under wraps until the show, we can reveal that Solo Venezia represents a tribute to the city of Venice where Fope established its first flagship store about a year ago. The new collection’s iconic gold mesh features an original design crafted from gold and diamonds which has been inspired by the traditional lace art typical of the Venetian island of Burano. The range offers precious details and refined shapes.

Lydia Courteille

For the newest collection, Lydia Courteille has taken her inspiration from the opulent Topkapi Palace, in Istanbul, Turkey. After falling in love with this country, Courteille uses the Palace as her starting point to explore the past of this sublime gateway to the Orient. From the great love story of Roxelana and Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent of the vast and powerful Ottoman Empire, to the famous Iznik ceramics decorated with black Halfeti roses and brilliant red tulips, symbol of Turkey; Lydia Courteille invites visitors to discover the secret splendours of Turkey’s Byzantium and Constantinople in a range which encompasses twenty jewels adorned with vibrant gemstones.

Nana Fink

Nana Fink will introduce a new ring at Baselworld. Named ‘Liz’ the unique piece has been inspired by the elegance and mystique surrounding Elizabeth Taylor. Partnering with a renowned stone cutting company, the Liz ring centres around a green stone representing balance and harmony. With this new piece Nana Fink hopes to create an equilibrium between the head and the heart of the wearer. Fink will also introduce new pieces to existing collections.

The latest Dancing creations by Nanis reflect techniques found in ancient jewellery. Yellow gold balls with surfaces scratched by the diamond, drops of milky aquamarine, white moonstone, creamy pink opal and rutilated quartz are arranged in warm and long lines with artistic references to the art nouveau era. Named a brand to watch by Professional Jeweller last year, this is a stand not to be missed at Basel.

Pasquale Bruni

Fine jewellery brand Pasquale Bruni has taken the icy blue of winter and transformed the shade into a range of chalcedony and snowy quartz adorned jewellery called Sissi Ice Blue. Elsewhere Chrysoprase takes centre stage in the new Bon Ton Chrysophrase, and  the brand plays with rose gold hues in the Ton Joli range. Flower motifs will shine for Pasquale Bruni at its Basel stand this year, alongside leafs and secret garden inspired designs.

Visitors to Baselworld will discover a secretive, exceptional piece created to celebrate and mark the momentous milestone of Picchiotti’s 50th anniversary. Brand founder Giuseppe Picchiotti wanted to create a jewel that captured the essence of Picchiotti style and craftsmanship, spirit and philosophy, but that also kept the spirit of innovative creativity very much alive. The final creation will be officially unveiled at the show alongside new commercial collections.

Roberto Coin

Luxury Italian brand Roberto Coin will unveil news collections and new additions to best-selling ranges at Baselworld. Key to the SS17 is the Roberto Coin Cento diamond, which thanks to years of research and collaborations with the best experts in the world, presents an innovation in the cut. For the first time this precious stone comes with 100 different facets instead of the usual 57 and, it reveals a light that follows a path of refraction with a kaleidoscope effect. The brand has built a whole collection around this new cut of diamond.

Rio Diamond

Rio Diamond is a natural fancy colour diamond wholesaler set to wow visitors with a rare 400 carat plus rough diamond. Established in 1969, the New York based company specialises in unique one of a kind coloured diamonds. Rio Diamond manufactures colours, from the most common yellows to the rare exotic pinks and blues, and creates striking hand crafted jewellery.

Stockert will showcase its latest You and Me collection and its brand new Liason range at this year’s Baselworld. While You and Me offers striking, fine jewellery designs, which takes round-brilliant white diamonds and places them in modern, flowing design. Elsewhere, the Liason collection features high-quality solitaire rings. Crafted in platinum, the Liason diamond rings offer a tension set centre stone, and a hidden diamond below, making the pieces contemporary yet classic.

For the third consecutive year, Tous returns to Baselworld to showcases its SS17 jewellery. This year, the brand will be presenting on a larger stand and more strategic location to reflects its plans to grow and expand through various channels. Thew new range Bonjour Señorita, pays tribute to the classic Parisian. Rings, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, and earrings lay the path towards a multicolor summer adorned with titanium, topaz, pearls, and synthetic gemstones, complemented by mix and match medallions.

For SS17 UNde50 has found inspiration in the hidden ‘City Paradises’. At Jewellery & Watch the brand will present for ranges crafted in sterling silver combined with gold-plating, leather adornments and Swarovski elements. Palace Dream has been inspired by wildlife and feature element designs, while Secret Gardens looks to nature and all its beauty. Elsewhere Home Creative Home pays homage to the intimate space it is named after and Wild Subrubs offers consumers an alternative and daring edge.

Yoko London

Luxury pearl jewellery brand Yoko London returns to Basel this year with a lavish collection of contemporary pearl jewellery. New pieces have been designed to meet the flexible needs of the modern woman, whilst maintaining accessible price points. Alongside these jewels, Yoko London will showcase new one of a kind creations featuring rare pearls in large sizes, and unique natural colours. Elsewhere layered necklaces will be an important trend for the brand at the fair, as Yoko London introduces new strand designs at different lengths and styles using freshwater pearls.
