SS17 sees French jewellery brand Les Georgettes introduce interchangeable rings for the very first time, alongside sparkle adorned bangles. The rings will launch with six different designs, sold as a pack with three interchangeable leathers or fluid perspex bands. Available in 48 colours, the Valentine’s range mixes everyday wear and glamour.

Lucy Quartermaine launches Waterfall
Award winning jewellery designer Lucy Quartermaine will make a return to water-inspired designs with the launch of Waterfall at Jewellery & Watch. Packing all the punch of her usual statement pieces, Waterfall literally flows over the wearers skin with its highly
reflective polished sterling silver finish. Encompassing bangles, bracelets, necklaces, rings, ear-climbers and earrings, each piece in the range features silver water droplets connected in a dripping chain of varying lengths to replicate the movement of a gentle waterfall.

Manja fights for freedom
Inspired from the traditional Malagasy Vango Vango, the Freedom collection by Manja brings the fire and spirit of the liberated slaves to Birmingham. Inspired by African history, Manja has taken a traditional symbol of freedom from Madagascan heritage and created a unisex collection that is imbued with a poignant sense of historical significance. The design of each piece is based on the emotive Malagasy Vango Vango bracelet, connecting consumers to the past and markedly reminding them of their own liberty in the modern world.

New Beginnings enjoys expansion
For SS17 Gecko is introducing over 300 brand new pieces to its Beginnings collection bringing the total offer to over 900 designs. New pieces include earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, bangles, hoops, studs, nose studs, ear cuffs and menswear. All designs are in sterling silver and some feature coloured stones such as rose quartz, moonstone, turquoise, amber as well as cubic zirconia. Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls are also much in evidence. New pieces include animal earrings and pendants, which sit alongside some quirky designs based on emoji’s. Both ranges inject a novel and up-to-the minute feel to the range.

New Romantic makes its debut
New Romantic will launch its debut range by Irish jewellery designer Niamh Patten at the show. The unique range features two main collections: Heavy Metal and Earth Angel. Together, the collections offer 80 items, which are in tune with market trends. Pieces include rings, necklaces, bangles, bracelets and earrings. Heavy metal offers sterling silver pieces, while Earth Angel has been crafted in 18ct rose gold and adorned with gemstones. The brand was founded by Patten and Julie Ann Fearson in 2016.

Pursuit will reveal the next generation of its Lifestyle mobile till and stock records retail sales tool. Running on an iPad or other tablet devices, Lifestyle was the first of its kind specifically designed for the jewellery industry. The new version is being provided free to existing users. Sif Jakobs Jewellery focuses on geometric
Award-winning Danish jewellery brand, Sif Jakobs Jewellery, will unveil several new collections to visitors at Jewellery & Watch. This season, strong geometric shapes are a key design focus for the brand, with circles of various sizes featuring heavily in the new Valenza, Lariano and Ozieri ranges. For the new Antella collection, circles are replaced by baguette-cut cubic zirconia stones. Drawing inspiration from structural forms and space, the collection plays with geometry, combining angular stones with feminine design.

Talbots Group will launch additions to its successful collection of specialist packaging at Jewellery & Watch, offering a host of new colourways and dimensions. Launching in spring, Talbots Group’s Couture collection will include a watch/bangle box, which will be available in elegant and modern black, gunmental grey or navy blue colourways. These new large, tactile soft touch boxes offer a luxurious and stylish packaging option that complement the collection’s existing box sizes and styles. Luxury bags are available to match and the entire range can be personalised with a retailer or brand’s logo.

For 2017, UJT has launched its new wedding and eternity collection, which caters to three price points. The range includes dive different settings, a variety of diamond qualities and plenty of sparkle. The company will also showcase new Reverie diamond engagement ring pieces.
