Belgian-designed jewellery brand Mya Bay has secured a UK distribution deal with watch distributor Peers Hardy.
The brand, which was established by Sophie Johnen in 2012, offers a selection of fashion jewellery pieces that draw on popular trends with a Mya Bay twist.
The brand’s adjustable bangle, which retails at £49, is Mya Bay’s most iconic piece. The bangle features a clasp that pays tribute to the birth of the brand, shaped like Maya Bay Island in Thailand, and allows the owner to ensure a seamless fit around their wrist.
Peers Hardy’s sales and marketing director, Paul Harry, says: “We’re really thrilled to be bringing this exciting brand to our home market. UK retailers that managed to secure the brand before there was a distributor are reporting tremendous success with the line.”
The latest distribution deal for Peers Hardy comes a month on from the announcement that it would handle the distribution of Radley London’s jewellery range – the first jewellery brand to join the distributor’s wealth of watches.
“We have worked to ensure we make the strongest start to building our jewellery portfolio with our new Radley licence, adding to existing collections from CLUSE and Paul Hewitt and now Mya Bay. It’s just the beginning.”
