57 members of the jewellery industry applied to become NAJ members following the National Association of Jewellers take-over day at Jewellery & Watch.
The Association presented the first ever NAJ Live event on the Tuesday at Jewellery & Watch, offering visitors at the NEC insight into making and saving money in the jewellery industry.
During this drive, a record number of trade professionals from across the whole supply chain applied to be part of the Association. This includes 17 suppliers, 17 designers, three international, one jewellery industry associate and 19 retailers.
NAJ chairman, Simon Johnson of Marmalade Jewellery, comments: “I have been blown away by the industry support and another wonderful Jewellery & Watch show, as well as NAJ Live for the first time. I am thrilled that our new mantra to ‘make you money and save you money’ has been overwhelmingly received and we will continue to be the trade association, always here to help and advise.”
The National Association of Jewellers is the new trade body formed by the unification of the BJA and the N.A.G. The NAJ leads, serves and represents the jewellery industry by promoting, protecting and providing for the industry.
