The National Association of Jewellers will be introducing members to their new chief executive officer, Simon Forrester, at Jewellery & Watch.

For Forrester, who started at the NAJ on January 22, Jewellery & Watch will be his first official industry outing.

As such, the NAJ invites show visitors to their stand at midday today (Sunday, February 4) for his official welcome.

“I am very pleased to have joined the Association in advance of one of the most prestigious trade shows in the jewellery industry calendar,” shares Forrester, adding: “I look forward to meeting members and non-members alike during the exhibition. Our stand features the launch of the revitalised JET Diploma, so please join us to find out more.”

Forrester takes over form Michael Rawlinson, who stepped down as CEO May last year after two years in the position.

With over 22 years’ experience in strategic-level association management and a track record of delivering increased member benefits, training courses, governance reviews, best practice and a substantial code of conduct linked to purchaser confidence, Forrester is well-positioned to take on this role at the NAJ.
