Luxury retail giant, Net-a-Porter, is showing the world that jewellery is an important part of fashion as it continues to put this category in the spotlight.
Earlier this week the online retailer launched an invite-only digital space for big spenders to buy exclusive, one-of-a-kind high jewellery pieces from some of the world’s leading brands.
This was followed by a party during Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris dedicated to the celebration of high jewellery.
Held in the private gallery at Hôtel du Grand Veneur, the guest list included global stars, influencers, stylists and big high jewellery players.
From the trade, the CEO of Piaget and co-founder of Boehmer et Bassenge joined influential jewellery designers like Lorraine Schwartz.
The event included a mirrored spiral shaped installation which housed over 20 rare, one-of-a-kind pieces from the world’s most renowned high jewellery maisons, including Chopard, Piaget, Buccellati, Lorraine Schwartz, Boehmer et Bassenge, Boghossian, Giampiero Bodino, Nadia Morgenthaler, Ana Khouri, Repossi, De Grisogono, Bina Goenka and many more.
Jewellery is an important part of the Net-a-Porter business, with the online retailer showing people aren’t afraid to make big purchases online.
Over the years, Net-a-Porter has built a loyal customer base (as proven by the new invite-only platform), by making sure its a business people can trust.
On the jewellery side, customers can be confident that personal shoppers have a comprehensive diamond and gemstone education from the Gemological Institute of America.
Since 2014, Net-a-Porter has also been a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council.
