Jewellery manufacturer and supplier Domino has appointed Victoria Johnson as sales coordinator for the South East of England.
In her role, Johnson will be responsible for servicing independent retailers in Kent, East Sussex, Essex, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk as well as North East and South East London.
Johnson has a long experience in jewellery from a number of different angles. She studied jewellery and silversmithing at Bucks New University in High Wycombe and regularly puts her bench skills to work creating commission pieces in gold and silver in her spare time. She also has retail experience having worked for the Signet Group, amongst a number of other blue chip names, in a sales role.
Prior to joining Domino Johnson was a self-employed agent representing a number of established jewellery brands. Speaking about her new appointment she comments: “I have had dealings with Domino for many years and am absolutely thrilled to be working for such a prominent British company.
“I am much looking forward to introducing the range to those of my many contacts in the SE of the country, who are not already stockists and to meeting up with current customers. As a jeweller myself I feel I am particularly well-placed to help those retailers with workshops to find their way around the extensive range of components featured in ‘The Handbook’ but am also much looking forward to selling finished and semi-finished ranges such as Sienna, of which I am a particular fan.”
Andrew Sollitt, sales and marketing director at Domino is delighted to have Johnson on board. “We have no doubt that Victoria’s extensive jewellery knowledge and her well-established list of contacts will help us bring our products to the widest possible audience,” he said.
