Nominations now open for Professional Jeweller Awards 2020

The nomination process for the 2020 Professional Jeweller Awards has officially begun today.

Trade professionals can now start nominating for the 2020 PJ Awards, which comprises 17 categories honouring retailers, brands and suppliers from the UK market.

Those shortlisted will be honoured on September  14 – the second night of International Jewellery London – at an exclusive London venue.

The Professional Jeweller Awards has been created for the industry, and will be judged by the industry.

The nomination process is divided into two halves, both of which allow the industry to get involved and find this year’s worthy winners.

First of all we would like to kick-start the voting process today by inviting all jewellery industry professionals to nominate retailers, brands and suppliers for the respective categories. These can include self nominations.

To have your say, simply email Professional Jeweller editor Stacey Hailes at with your nominations by Friday, June 12.

There is no limit to how many nominations you can put forward. For each entry though please state the award category and nomination, and provide an explanation for your suggestions and contact details for the nominee.

Nominations will need to refer to company achievements and developments that have taken place within the past 12 months, citing examples of innovation, achievements and success stories related to the chosen category(s) wherever possible.

Professional Jeweller will then create a shortlist for each category that will then be put to the vote through a private survey sent to bona fide trade professionals.

“This nomination process sets us apart from other events in the sector and has proven extremely popular. Winners are honoured to receive an accolade voted for by their peers, and so they should be! There can be no more reliable jury than the hundreds of executives that do business with each other throughout the entire year,” shares PJ editor, Stacey Hailes.

She adds: “I can’t wait to see the nominations fly in this year and gather with the industry’s shining lights to celebrate everyone’s achievements in September.”
