Eberhard is one of Nuvals latest signings and will now be sold through The Wonder Room in Selfridges.

Swiss heritage brand to celebrate 125th anniversary next year.

Watch and jewellery distributor Nuval has signed a deal to take on heritage Swiss watch brand Eberhard.

Nuval will now have the rights to distribute Eberhard in the UK, where it is already sold by pioneering London watch retailer Jura.

Eberhard is celebrating its 125th anniversary in 2012 and is still owned by the same family that founded the watchmaker on the Rue Leopold Robert at La Chaux-de-Fonds in 1907.

Popular offerings from the brand are its Chrono 4 line, which has a patented design that allows it to line the four counters up on the watch face side by side, and its range of classic ladies’ timepieces with a twist.

As well as taking on a new brand, Nuval has also started working with a number of new retail partners for its other watch brands. Some of these include LondonTime at Westfield London which has taken on TechnoMarine and TA Henn in Wolverhampton which has taken on Metal.Ch.

Nuval has also picked up new stockists for its jewellery brand Chimento, including Stephen Hughes in Swansea, Hooper Bolton in Cheltenham and Stuart Thexton in Nottingham.
