Online jewellery platform, Auverture, has vowed to support jewellery designers financially during the current crisis.

Wanting to add value to the jewellery community it is a part of, the e-commerce site has set up ‘The Auverture Designer Fund’ with an initial donation of €10,000 (£9K).

Over the next three months, all profits from Auverture will go into this newly created fund, which will then go towards helping independent jewellery designers that are in need of financial aid during this time.


Jewellery designer, Bibi van der Velden, founded Auverture in 2016 as an online destination for creative fine jewellery. Since then, she has built the brand on the foundation of creating a nurturing and supportive environment for independent fine jewellery designers and artists.

And today, as the world and our designer community face these challenging and unprecedented times, Auverture wants to play its part in ensuring small businesses survive.

“We believe it is our duty to help our designers during these uncertain times,” the founder affirms.

“Auverture is putting all its resources and efforts in the coming months into working towards this cause.”

A dedicated page has already been added to the firm’s website, and the marketing team is spreading the work online with the hashtag #auvertureunited.

“We’ve launched the Auverture Designer Fund because we believe this is how we can most valuably help our community, and because we believe in the strength of our designer family and the positive role their creations play in our world – which holds true before, during, and after these trying times.”

Auventure has put together a committee of a few industry experts, alongside a financial and legal person, who together will decide who needs to be supported and how.
