Only one month left to nominate for PJ Awards 2021

There is just one month left for the industry to nominate for the fourth annual Professional Jeweller Awards.

The event will take place at the historic De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden on 14 December 2021, and will celebrate the achievements of the UK jewellery industry over the last 12 months across 17 exciting categories.

As always the nomination process has been divided into two halves, both of which allow the industry to get involved and find this year’s worthy winners.

The first half invites all jewellery industry professionals to nominate retailers, brands and suppliers they feel should take home a trophy at this year’s ceremony. These can include self nominations.

There is no limit to how many nominations you can put forward.

Nominations will need to refer to company achievements and developments that have taken place within the past 12 months, citing examples of innovation, achievements and success stories related to the chosen category(s) wherever possible.

RETAILER CATEGORIES

Independent Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year (fewer than five stores) SPONSORED BY iXXXi

Honouring retailers that are independently owned, operate ten or fewer stores, and trade mainly in fashion and lifestyle jewellery brands priced at under £1,000.

Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year (fewer than five stores) SPONSORED BY WOLF

Honouring destination jewellery boutique businesses with fewer than five stores that excel in sales of fine jewellery priced at over £1,000.

Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five or more stores) SPONSORED BY CURTEIS

Recognising high-performing retailers with five or more stores, and which trade mainly in fashion and lifestyle jewellery brands priced at under £1,000.

Multiple Luxury Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five or more stores)

Recognising destination jewellery boutique businesses with more than five stores that excel in sales of fine jewellery priced at over £1,000.

Branded Jewellery Boutique of the Year

Shining the spotlight on brands that manage and operate their own physical stores.

Digital Innovator of the Year

Paying homage to retailers that are clearly embracing digital trends and demonstrating online innovation to bolster business.

Honouring the most industrious, hard-working and creative team working for a jeweller in the UK.

Best New Store or Store Refurbishment of the Year

Highlighting successful new store openings, store designs or store refurbishments in the last 12 months.

Honouring fine jewellery brands (producing items crafted from gold and platinum, and adorned with gemstones and diamonds) that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support, service, and marketing this year.

Honouring fashion jewellery brands that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support, service, and marketing this year.

Emerging Jewellery Brand of the Year

Recognising brands that have entered the UK market in the last two years and successfully opened doors, built brand awareness and secured sales.

Jewellery Industry Supplier of the Year

Paying reverence to jewellery industry suppliers that have demonstrated they have the best products, sales, support and service this year.

CSR Jewellery Supplier of the Year

Recognising jewellery suppliers that have excelled in corporate social responsibility or CSR initiatives.
