Pandora to present with BrightStarr at London Technology Week

BrightStarr will be joined by jewellery giant Pandora at this year’s London Technology Week.

During a special breakfast workshop entitled ‘Designing a Better Digital Workplace’, BrightStarr principal business consultant, Martyn Perks, will discuss the importance of design when building a digital workplace.

Partnering with Pandora, the jewellery brand’s global intranet manager, Morten Dal, will join in the discussion to talk about the importance design played in Pandora’s new intranet and the role it took in shaping not only the look and feel, but also the way the project was built, staged and implemented.

This workshop will take participants through how design, if done well, can make a digital workplace stronger, enhancing employee engagement, productivity and collaboration. It will offer best practice examples, interactive discussions and practical tips to help digital workplaces succeed.

Perks says: “Good design matters. It can drive internal efficiency and productivity including staff engagement. Design, if done well, can make things easier to use, consistent, and better integrated with other systems and tools.

“If the benefits of good design appear obvious, why do so many businesses struggle to invest internally in design? With internal communications projects being the exception to the rule, few are as confident when explaining how design can help simplify complex business processes or improve how staff collaborate.”

The  London Technology Week Workshop will take place 8.30am-10.30am, Tuesday June 21 2016 at Etc. Venues, 51-53 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8HN
