This Cartier panther bracelet was the top lot at a record-breaking 4.5m pounds.

A pop-up displaying the Panthère de Cartier collection from Cartier begins its tenure at Harrods’ famous Brompton Road store today.

The exhibit can be found at the brand’s usual spot in Harrods’ jewellery shop.

It will tell the history of Cartier’s panther-themed jewellery and watches, dating back to its very first Panthère de Cartier timepiece in 1914.

Running until Friday, 27 November, the pop-up will also allow visitors to try on pieces and take photos.

The exhibition will be spread across several rooms and guests will reportedly be greeted by Cartier bellboys.

A Harrods Facebook page for the event revealed: “Cartier invites you to discover the Panthère de Cartier universe like never before with a new and immersive experience at Harrods, taking you on a journey through the history of the iconic feline motif, from its inception through to the latest collections.”

This marks the second Harrods jewellery pop-up revealed this month.

Early in October the department store announced a new House of Luxury multi-brand pop-up. Read more below:
