Pantone has unveiled its unisex colour palette for AW15.

Experts opt for 10 colours with an androgynous and unisex focus.

Colour experts Pantone have selected 10 shades for AW15, including a selection of purple, burgundy, grey and pink hues, that are specifically designed to suit men and women’s fashion.

Pantone Color Institute executive director Leatrice Eiseman, commented: “This season displays an umbrella of accord that weaves earthy neutrals with a range of bold color statements and patterns to reflect a landscape of hope, fun, fantasy and all things natural. The colors are evocative of a love for nature and a timeless appreciation for warmth and security, which are conveyed through naturally inspired colors that remind us of things that are real and protective.”

The new colours are said to pay homage to fashions of the 1920s, with hints of “bohemian hippie” from the 1960s and 1970s.
