Working in collaboration with several of the jewellery industry’s top buying groups, LED lighting and store refit specialist Parify has sourced a full range of solutions to support jewellers through the post-lockdown reopening phase and into the ‘new normal’.

Earlier this week, Parify launched the SP900 – a free-standing, touch-free hand sanitising station with a clean, high-end aesthetic tailored to jewellery retailers. The supplier now features on all three buying groups’ recommended PPE supplier lists, having also established secure supply chains for UV sterilisers alongside store signage solutions and several types of PPE.

Parify Group owner and founder, Scot Walker, comments: “The retail jewellery sector is a significant part of my business. I realised very early on in the crisis that we had to do everything we could to support them to keep both suppliers and jewellers in business. With support from the CMJ, Houlden and the NAJ, we have developed a great range of products.”

The group also recently signed up as a worldwide distributor for Breathe – a newly-launched supplier of washable luxury facemasks that are designed to provide pm2.5 filter protection while remaining comfortable and appearing approachable.

Breathe owner, Ashley Westall, explains: “The agreement with Parify was an ideal opportunity. With larger wholesale MOQ’s – upwards of 5,000 – unreachable for most retailers, Parify’s involvement has allowed us to greatly reduce the unit cost to jewellers. With their help, we can fulfil market demand by offering good value to the retailer and significant distribution savings. We are very much aligned on our vision, the importance of product design and exceptional customer service”.

The partnership comes as the UK Government publishes reopening guidelines for UK retailers, which includes instructions to maintain social distancing, provide sanitiser and install protective screens at checkouts.

Parify’s efforts align with government recommendations to improve staff and customer safety and help reduce the risk of transmission via merchandise and human contact.

Walker adds: “Now’s the time to begin preparing the retail sector. Protecting staff and customers and creating safe and comfortable environments in our high street stores should be our top priority post-lockdown. We are committed to helping the industry get through this crisis and are working to secure other solutions to improve the safety of UK retail spaces over the coming weeks.”
