Jersey Pearl’s Mike Taylor to give insight into varieties and use.

The next London Jewellery Meetup will take place on April 24, with guest speaker Mike Taylor of Jersey Pearl set to provide insight into different types of pearls, creating pearl jewellery and ethics surrounding the gem.

Taylor will also discuss the background of Jersey Pearl, a wholesale and retail pearl business launched in 1985, with an opportunity at the end of his talk to ask questions related to pearls. Thereafter, the evening will offer guests a chance to network with other members of the industry.

Jersey Pearl, based in St. Ouen, Jersey, is known for its freshwater, Tahitian and akoya pearl jewellery, and special collections with designers including Annaloucah, Drew Perridge and Joanna Dahdah.

The pearl edition of London Jewellery Meetup will take place on April 24 from 6.30pm to 9pm, at the Sir Christopher Hatton on Leather Lane, near Hatton Garden.

Past London Jewellery Meetups have included a hallmarking talk, a Q&A with Shaun Leane and insight into jewellery merchandising and branding.
