Watch brand to advertise in titles such as Kent Life.
Watch brand Pequignet is planning a consumer ad campaign targeting local lifestyle titles such as Kent Life.
Carolyn Whitten-Brown of Elmstone Marketing & PR, who is working with Pequignet, said that the brand had chosen local titles over national due to the limited number of Pequignet stockists.
“It would have been a waste to do national titles,” said Whitten-Brown. “With these ads we can advertise the local retailer’s details.”
However, she added that the brand is planning to run national campaigns in the near future in magazines such as Men’s Health and GQ.
Pequignet currently has 14 stockists in the UK and Pequignet UK brand manager Guy Allen said he is hoping to increase this to 40 shops by early 2011.
