Piaget debuts new high jewellery collection at Paris Couture Week


During the Paris Haute Couture Week, Piaget introduced its latest collection of high jewellery creations and fine watches.

At the hotel Potocki, a grand palace in the heart of Paris, guests were invited to discover the new range entitled The Sunny Side of Life. As the name suggests, the 150-pieces ranges takes inspiration from the radiance that comes from a sunny disposition.

At the event, global brand ambassador Jessica Chastain showcased her 18ct white gold Sunny Side of Life necklace adorned with 135 marquise-cut diamonds (approx 28.94ct) and one cushion-cut diamond (approx 4.21cts).

Chastain was joined by friends of Piaget including ballerina Dorothée Gilbert who wore a strikign 18ct white gold necklace set with two pear-shaped emeralds from Zambia, 223 brilliant-cut diamonds, 37 round-cut demantoid garnets, 53 round-cut green tourmalines, 16 round-cut emeralds, eight triangle-cut diamonds, two triangle-cut demantoid garnets, one triangle-cut emerald and one triangle-cut green tourmaline.

Elsewhere French singer/songwriter Marina Kaye completed her outfit with Sunny Side of Life necklace shining with one oval-cut unheated pink sapphire from Madagascar, pear-shaped pink tourmalines and diamonds.

The Sunny Side of Life collection comprises mesh-woven gold work necklaces, feather marquetry diamond cuffs and scintillating fiery marquise diamond watches among other show-stopping creations.
