UK jewellery professionals have rushed to back the companies they think should win the 2019 Professional Jeweller Awards, with hundreds casting their votes this week before the deadline looms.
After over a month of voting the PJ Awards ballots will be shut and winners locked down by 5pm on Friday, August 9.
With the top spots changing hands several times, every vote really does count, and the finalists have been out in full force this week to drum up support and help secure a trophy on the night.
Professional Jeweller editor, Stacey Hailes, says: “I really love the way we do our voting for the PJ Awards. Not only does everyone in the industry get a say, they also get the opportunity to back a supplier or retailer they most admire.
“It’s fantastic to see the trade supporting one another and I can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on Sept 2 at Lord’s Cricket Ground.”
The Professional Jeweller Awards is designed so that brands and suppliers vote on the outcome of the retailer categories, while retailers vote on the outcome of the brands and suppliers categories.
Industry professionals can only vote for one finalist in each category and all entries are verified and validated for eligibility.
The 2019 PJ Awards takes place on Monday, September 2 at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. To secure seats or tables to the awards, which includes a three-course meal and unlimited drinks package, make sure you book in fast.
We also have limited tickets to enjoy a tour of the grounds before the awards.
The event is supported by Curteis, Bloch & Co and Cybertill.
Voting closes midnight August 9.
