In the latest episode of the PJ Podcast, returning guest Roseanna Croft details an extremely trying past nine months of her life.

The independent bespoke jewellery designer, who recently turned 31, spent the latter half of 2021 recovering from breast cancer.

Now given the all-clear by doctors after a successful round of chemotherapy and an operation, Croft is back to work at her Roseanna Croft Fine Jewellery business.

When Professional Jeweller interviewed Croft on the podcast early last year she discussed her plans for developing the business, including a big move to London to open a new studio.

Unfortunately the cancer diagnosis put her plans on hold, but now Croft is back firing on all cylinders and ready to take on new customers once more.

In this latest episode of the podcast, she talks her diagnosis and recovery, keeping the business afloat amid chemotherapy without any additional funding, her return to work in mid-January, the new mindset with which she approaches jewellery design now, and what comes next for the business.

As well as the growth of her bespoke design service, Croft’s plans include giving back to the industry that has served her so well, with projects in the works to support both women in jewellery and those working at the earliest stages of the supply chain.
