Italian luxury fashion house Prada has launched its first ever fine jewellery collection, Eternal Gold.

The collection features 100% certified recycled gold which meets “Chain of Custody” standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council.

Eternal Gold marks the first collection of 100% certified recycled gold jewellery to be launched by a global luxury brand.

The collection features sustainable recycled gold and ethical, traceable diamonds.

Each step of the responsible gold and diamond production chain is traceable and verifiable on the Aura Consortium Blackchain’s platform, which can be accessed by Prada fine jewellery customers who will also be able to verify the authenticity of their pieces.

A campaign has launched which celebrates exceptional personalities, whose uniqueness mirrors each piece of fine jewellery and whose contributions to modern culture are notable.

The campaign includes award-winning American poet and activist Amanda Gorman; American actor, model, and singer-songwriter Maya Hawke; and Dutch Korean Canadian musician Somi Jeon.

“Shot by David Sims, the classic portraits are juxtaposed with images with gold reflections – golden youths transformed into the jewels themselves,” the luxury fashion house said. “These photos, which combine the concepts of ancient and avant-garde, reflect the Eternal Gold.”
