The annual Professional Jeweller Awards ceremony is to return in December this year.
PJ is delighted to reveal that Tuesday 14 December will be the date of its first awards ceremony in just over two years.
As with practically every other event in the jewellery calendar, the pandemic put a stop to the 2020 PJ Awards, scheduled for an ill-fated London date in early November last year.
England’s second national lockdown was the stumbling block for the event, but at the time PJ promised to come back bigger than ever in 2021, and that is just what we plan to do.
Also of note is that Curteis has come onboard as sponsor for the category of Multiple Fashion Jewellery Retailer of the Year (five or more stores).

On announcing the cancelling of the 2020 awards, Rob Corder, founder and managing editor of Professional Jeweller, said: “Rather than putting on a pale imitation, we think it is better to protect the brand values of the Awards and come back stronger than ever in 2021.”
Readers can rest assured that, after a year off, there will be nothing sub-standard about the 2021 ceremony.
Keep an eye out over the coming weeks and months for more news on categories, a venue, and more on what is set to be PJ‘s best awards event yet.
